Gabriel Amadeo Videla - Curriculum
Gabriel Jorge Amadeo Videla was born in Buenos Aires, Capital City of Argentina in 1974. Since he was 2 years old, he has lived in the Province of Buenos Aires. He had his percussion teacher degree in the Alberto Ginastera Conservatory in Morón City.
He studied composition, harmony, guitar, piano and percussion in the conservatory and private classes as well.
He attended seminars and festival given by teachers of percussion from the all world. Besides, he participated as a teacher in many festivals in America, Asia and Europe.
As a composer he makes folk music from his country and also from South America with concepts of academic percussion. His music was played in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico, EEUU, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway and Japan.
As a performer he recorded seven records with different groups, performing as a singer, percussionist, pianist and guitar player. Besides, he participated as a guest in other musician’s records.
As a teacher he worked in education at all levels. He also gave workshops at different cultural centers and privately too.
He is conductor of the folk orchestra in south Morón. In addition, he is the Musical organizer the international percussion festival "Arte a palos" in Morón City. Besides, he is Teacher of IFDC of Villa Mercedes San Luis.
At present, he is presenting The second C.D. of Pozo Dúo in Argentina, America, Europe and Asia.
